AMD 990FX, 990X, 970 Based Motherboards To Support NVIDIA SLI

Now major system board manufacturers like ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock and MSI will be able to incorporate support for NVIDIA SLI into solutions based on AMD 990FX, 990X and 970 chipsets which normally only support AMD CrossFireX.

According to a blog post at NVIDIA's website, the company has licensed the technology to a number of motherboard manufacturers (not just the four listed above).
