Nokia 9300 Smartphone @ TrustedReviews

"The 640 x 200 resolution screen above the keyboard is impressive. It’s not touch sensitive, so needs no overlay and, consequently, it’s very easy to read. Want to check your email while sat outside enjoying a pint in the sun? You won't have any problems here. It’s not over reflective and is quite readable in bright conditions."

PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 850 SSI @ PureOverclock

"On removing the top we see a very unique design. It’s laid out in such a way you can see each stage of the design as you look from left to right. I personally have never seen a PSU built like this, not even the Turbo-Cool 510 SLI. In design terms it’s exceptional and from talking with PC Power & Cooling I started to understand why it looks so different inside, for this is the first power supply to market with proprietary rails."

Camera Clash: Digital SLR vs All-in-One Point-and-Shoot @ FiringSquad

"The photographer is responsible for the picture, not the equipment." Alan Dang from FiringSquad.com tests that statement by comparing two 8 megapixel digital cameras: a $600 Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 point-and-shoot versus a $1400 Canon EOS-20D backed by over $4000 worth of lenses and accessories. What are the cameras capable of? When does equipment become the limiting factor? It doesn't matter if you think you know the outcome, or even if your budget doesn't come close to this price range. This is an article for anyone interested in digital photography."

U.S. Robotics USB Internet (VoIP) Phone Reviewed @ BIOS

"U.S. Robotics' first foray into VoIP is a good one. The USB Internet Phoneprovides a great way to call friends, family and colleagues over theInternet for free. And as the bundled Skype service improves, you will getbetter connection quality and features at a fraction of the cost of a normalphone line. If you frequently speak to colleagues in other parts of theworld, or you simply want to talk with loved ones or relatives for longerand for less cost, this solution should satisfy your needs without breakingthe bank. Having said that, you should bear in mind that the phone isrelatively basic in terms of design and features, and it requires you to bepermanently hooked up to your computer's USB port. There are more powerfulVoIP phones available, but if your needs are relatively simple and you'relooking for a low-cost entry into VoIP, the USB Internet Phone is a goodchoice."

Legion Hardware - (Dual-Core Overclocking Performance)

"Despite being faster than an $880 Dual-Core AMD processor, the $520 Athlon64 X2 4400+ is still very expensive. Compare this to the $250 you will pay to own an Intel Pentium D 820 processor and the bang for your buck factor of the AMD processor looks very bleak. Of course there is the Athlon64 X2 3800+ which retails for $350 US but its just not going to deliver what the 4400+ can on the overclocking front. The lower clock multiplier dulls the processor right down, as does the L2 Cache which is cut in half. Then at the end of the day you are still paying $100 US more for a processor that’s physically no faster."

Power Supply Group Test @ TrustedReviews

"You might have noticed a small sticker on some electrical equipment that is labelled Hi-POT. What this means is that the power supply has been tested with a high voltage static discharge. To pass the Hi-POT test requires that the power supply doesn’t pass the static charge on to the device(s) it’s powering, as this could potentially cause damage. This is especially important when it comes to computer components, which are very sensitive to electrostatic discharges."

XClio GoodPower 500 Watt Power Supply review @ Xtreme Resources

"Between the amateur computer user, who will use any power supply unit provided in his pre-assembled system and the hardcore enthusiast who will purchase a power supply unit that costs more than his/her bed, there is another league of users who simply want a strong, good quality power supply unit which will not let them down and keep the system safe while it must not cost an arm and a leg. In the so called ‘middle stream’ market, there are many companies and many products to choose from. Yet a new product comes into that market from XClio ( Meridian) to grab a piece of the pie, the GoodPower 500W power supply unit. Boasting strong reliability, visual factor, enough power and great value for money, it certainly will draw enough attention if the claims are true. Are they true? Let’s find out!"

ABIT RX800 XL-256EDVIO & Fatal1ty X800 XL Review @ Beyond3d

"The Fatal1ty X800 XL is essentially a 512MB version of the standard ATI Radeon X800 XL but with a few additional features that we shall investigate in this review. Alongside this graphics card, we shall also be taking a look at Abit's RX800 XL-256EDVIO model - the rather cumbersome name slightly disguises the fact that this too is essentially a standard X800 XL but, like the Fatal1ty version, with extra functions."

Hardware for Humanity Raffles off AMD Athlon64 CPUs to raise money to help the Gulf Coast

"Hardware for Humanity is a joint effort of Gruntville.com and TheBestCaseScenario.com to raise money to help rebuild the devastated Gulf Coast region. I know there are a ton of scams out there and you may think this is another one and just toss it. I ask that before you do that, check us out. You will see that the four people responsible for this, John “Gruntman” Krump, Brian “Dante” Giacoleti, Paul “CrimsonSky” Capella, and myself, Rich “DickNervous” Neves, have all been active members of the PC Enthusiast community for some time and can be trusted. Besides, look at the pic below. If we weren’t legit, would AMD send us almost $10,000 worth of CPUs to raffle off?"
