Newbie Guide to U3 - The 'Official' Portable USB Apps Platform @ Everything USB

"Co-developed by SanDisk and M-Systems, the open-standard U3 platform allows users to take their applications, not just data, with them to any USB-equipped Windows PC and to launch them with as little as two clicks. True, while applications have been tweaked by users to run directly off a flash drive, applications written for U3 smart drives don't require a geek to set up, and are 100% legal to operate. And now, we have one of the first U3 tutorials that give you a step-by-step guide to this new portable USB apps platform."

News: Transparenz Anti-Aliasing on current ATI Graphic Cards @ 3DCenter

"Adaptive Anti-Aliasing is a new feature of the upcoming ATI graphic cards, similar to nVidia's Transparent Anti-Aliasing on the G70 chip. HIS ICEQII Radeon X800GT Turbo PCI Express Videocard Review @ Tweaknews.net

"So who is this videocard targeted for? It is getting harder and harder to say really. Seems that ATI is going to try to stick as many two letter version releases at the end of the X800 line before it is rendered obsolete in the upcoming months. If you were thinking because of the GT tag that this card is an enthusiast card, you will quickly that it is indeed a low to mid-range mainstream card. Does this mean it is a slacker?....... Oh HELLLLLL no.."

OCZ Gold PC4000 2GB Dual Channel Kit @ InsaneTek

"OCZ's first 2GB solution runs under their Gold series. The memory comes with loose timings, but it does manage to overclock extremely well. OCZ never fails to impress when it comes to enthusiast memory."

GameTrak Hardware Review @ Hardware.GamersHell

"Over the years gaming has been made accessible through a number of successful peripherals like joy pads, steering wheels, flight sticks and less successful ones like virtual reality goggles and gloves that control movement. In this big sea of gaming accessories, it’s difficult to be innovative, but In2Games has done just that. They have concocted a device that lets you control movement in the game by moving your hands. Now you’re probably thinking that this is nothing new, but the way In2Games has implemented this concept is not like anything you’ve seen before."

MobiBLU DAH-1500i MP3 Review @ PDAToday.com

"I recently returned from Taiwan where I attended the Taipei Summer Computer I.T. Show. Among all the aisles of the latest computer gear, there were hundreds of new MP3 players. I saw many iPod clones, a variety of hard drive based models, and more pocket sized players than I can remember. Many new models have color screens and video capability, which I found to be mostly useless since they are usually too small to watch video and the player does not have enough memory to storage a large video file. Some players allow you to read e-books, although the screens are so small that you will need a magnifying glass. The main point is that many manufacturers are adding features and elements to their products to differentiate them in a crowded market. Mostly they are more expensive and have features that seem "cool", but are not useful. A good MP3 player is all about audio. What I was looking for was a player with a cool design, easy to use, excellent sound quality, and is not full of features that I have to pay for, but will never use more than once."

Wacom Graphire Bluetooth Wireless Pen Tablet Reviewed @ BIOS

"Ideal for digital photographers, graphic design professionals and artists,Wacom's Graphire Bluetooth Wireless Pen Tablet offers a much more preciseand natural way to draw freehand compared to a mouse. The tablet doesn'tprovide a 1:1 mapping ratio for most monitors, offers just 512 sensitivitylevels, and may not be ideal for artistic styles that need full arm motion, but the ability to use the tablet wirelessly and without a power outlet is areal boon. In addition, the excellent bundled software make it worth itshigh cost for serious artists and designers."

SMC Wireless Hotspot Gateway @ TrustedReviews

"The access point (AP) comes with five switched Fast Ethernet ports and no less than four of them can be used to provide simultaneous Internet access. You can add four ADSL or cable modems, enter their respective ISP login details and the AP will perform load balancing across all WAN ports in use. If any fail then all traffic will be switched to the active WAN links. Standard hacker protection is provided by NAT and an SPI firewall to which you can add custom packet filtering rules and apply them to specific ports. You can also stop wireless traffic from being passed to the LAN ports allowing you to isolate wireless users and restrict them to accessing only the WAN port."

bit-tech.net exclusive preview: World's first Extreme Dynamic Range display

"The picture is analysed 60 times per second and the brightness value for every LED in the array is dynamically adjusted from zero light (0 cd/m^(2)) right up to 4,000 cd/m^(2), and everything in between. BrightSide call this technology Individually Modulated LED, or IMLED. This is the foundation of BrightSide's core Intellectual Property. A full 8-bits of the display are dedicated to this luminance channel which, when combined with the 8-bits of information going to the LCD panel, gives a display capable of receiving and displaying 16-bits per colour channel."

Legion Hardware - (Intel Pentium D 820 Overclocking)

"The Pentium D 840 costs more than twice as much as the 820 processor tested here today. For just $360 AUD the Pentium 4 820 is an absolute bargain, particularly for overclockers. This high-end desktop processor can easily take on the most extreme Intel and AMD processors once overclocked. After all, there are no Intel processors that come clocked at 4.0GHz let alone 4.2GHz."

World's exclusive review: PowerColor X800 GT EVO Liquid Cooled @ Bjorn3D

"Today we are looking at something special from PowerColor. Something overclockers will drool at. What if I told you we have a card equipped with its own liquid cooling system? That's right, it's the first card ever to be coupled with Thermaltake's TideWater system. No other AIB used this type of solution before. The card I'm referring to is PowerColor X800 GT EVO based on R480. Let me tell you, it rocks like crazy in our system! Don't mistake it with Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, although I have to say video chipzillas and vendors are using more and more fancy names to attract customers."

OCZ Rally 2GB Flash Drive Review @ Techgage

"Thumb Drives are not usually the most exciting products on the market. It's no doubt though, that they can be extremely useful when backing data up.. especially at a high speed. We are taking a look at the new OCZ Rally drive, which promises to leave the competitors in the dust."

Creative Labs Zen Vision Review at Designtechnica

"Creative Labs second iteration of their portable media player, the Zen Vision, follows in the footsteps of their Zen Portable Media Center, which failed miserably when it was introduced. Forget everything you know about the Zen Portable Media Center though, because the Zen Vision is a completely different product – one that you might actually want. First of all, the Zen Vision ditches Microsoft's Portable Media Center operating system, instead opting for a custom, in-house solution. With a 30GB hard drive and a 3.7" color screen, the Zen Vision should have a lot to offer, read on to see if it delivers."
