Kingston signs agreement with SGI for memory shipments

Kingston Technology signed an agreement with Silicon Graphics that authorizes the former to offer memory for SGI Origin 3000 and SGI Origin 300 family of servers, SGI Onyx 3000 and SGI Onyx 300 visualization systems, Silicon Graphics Onyx4TM UltimateVisionTM visualization systems, and Silicon Graphics Fuel and Silicon Graphics TezroTM visual workstations. Memory for these systems contain SGI proprietary technology. According to the press release, during the term of the agreement, Kingston´s memory products are fully eligible for support services through SGI as Kingston´s designated service provider.

Kingston and SGI have a long history of mutual agreements, including the previous SGI Origin 2000, SGI Origin 200, and the Silicon Graphics Onyx2 licensing agreement.
