USB Video Device Class: streaming over USB

USB Implementers Forum posted a new specification that supports streaming data — USB Video Device Class Specification Revision 1.0. This new substandard is called to simplify the connection of streaming devices with PCs.

USB Implementers Forum members expect new devices will include both inexpensive webcams, high-end digital video cameras. Prototypes will be first showcased at Intel Developer Forum that starts tomorrow.
