OPPO announced the Ace2 flagship phone in April this year. Its successor with the OPPO Ace3 moniker was expected to arrive in the second half of the year. It did not come true as the Ace-lineup was reported transferred to Realme. Probably, it appears that OPPO may have replaced the Ace3 with the upcoming Snapdragon 865 powered Reno5 Pro+ smartphone. A reliable tipster has claimed that the Realme is working on a flagship phone under the Ace branding.

According to the tipster, the Realme Ace flagship will be driven by the Snapdragon 875 chipset and it will have a thin chassis. The handset will carry support for superfast charging. Currently available mid-range and flagship phones are equipped with 65W fast charging technology.

At present, there is no information on the other specs of the device. In July, Realme announced its 125W UltraDart fast charging technology that can charge a 4,000mAh battery up to 33 percent in just 3 minutes. It remains to be seen whether the Realme Ace arrives with 125W UltraDart charging tech.

In related news, two Realme phones with model numbers RMX3061 and RMX3063 have been spotted at certification platforms. The FCC certification revealed that the device has a 5,000mAh battery and a square-shaped camera module housing a triple camera system. It is speculated that it could be the next C-series phone from the brand.
