AnTuTu score is a bragging right for several manufacturers, and with the second set of flagships for the year beginning to arrive, the battle has been rekindled. Today, Ni Fei, the CEO of Nubia, has shared the AnTuTu score of the upcoming Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone.

According to a screenshot of the AnTuTu score shared on Weibo, the Red Magic 5 scored a total of 659,586 points. That is even higher than the 648,871 points scored by the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel.

The Red Magic 5G’s higher score may be as a result of its GPU which is said to be overclocked. The CEO also shared the device’s Master Lu benchmark score which is 616,085 points. Unfortunately, neither of the screenshots include the specs of the phone.

The Red Magic 5S will have a 144Hz refresh rate, a 320Hz touch-sampling rate, shoulder buttons, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, liquid cooling, and be powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. It is expected to run Android 10 out of the box and Nubia has also confirmed it will have a screen-casting feature along with a new low-latency virtual remote controller.

The phone is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, the 28th of July. The gaming phone will be announced alongside the Nubia Watch.
