The Oppo F9 Pro is all set to be launched on the 21st of August. The announcement comes straight from the official website of the Chinese phone maker.
The F9 Pro is being touted as a phone with great battery tech. Its tagline says “5-minute charge, 2-hour talk”. Looks like Oppo did some serious engineering on this one. They are using their proprietary VOOC fast charging tech which makes it difficult to achieve the same results with a quick charge adapter. Even though the tech is great, it increases dependency on the proprietary wall charger.

The specs of the Oppo F9 Pro are still a mystery, but earlier reports have hinted at the presence of the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. Apart from that, the F9 Pro will have the same design as the F9. Oppo has publicised around the F9 series’ display, dual-camera and VOOC fast charging.
